The new Computer Center was built in 2007, equipped with twenty computers received as a donation. The center was built with access to the market area planning to offer classes to people from the area as well as students from Pan y Amor.
But short after the inauguration the electric power company started to rationalize energy in the market area. Until today, Pan y Amor does not receive a minute of energy a day. All energy used in the center is generated with a semi-industrial generator installed at the end of 2007, producing four to five hours of electric power and allowing at least computer classes for Pan y Amor students.
