	June 7th 2009 Paulina from Manos del Sur, Miami, returned to visit Pan y Amor with a group of 20 High School students. Many of the students who came to work for a week last year with Pan y Amor students, tutoring and helping those with most difficulties, came again this year. They always come laden with gifts such as soccer shoes and uniforms, school shoes and above all a great desire to share their love with those who need it the most.
	July 4th 2009 Father Danny’s group, Abrazando Cristo, re-visited Pan y Amor this year. A group of 20 adults from Louisiana who have visited the Association for the last nine years to work with the children, brought a financial donation and helped to improve the infrastructure of the school building in new columns for the roof structure and painting them. In the health and higiene activity they realized, they gave medical assistance to those people of small ressources of the Mercado Oriental neighborhood. And they cut the hair of about half the students from the center, aiming to teach the kids to have a better personal hygiene. They also showed them the correct ways of bathing and washing hands.
